In September 2018 the fall of construction debris from the front on the Via Mazzini has meant the need to carry out a reconnaissance of the facades in order to verify the state of the various apparatus and to secure the facades on the public street, through the removal of the parts at risk of fall. The Municipal Palace needed important restoration and recovery efforts aimed at its preservation and upgrading to allow it to be used in a timely manner. Through this project, the Administration requested to execute facade restoration interventions, to resolve the problems of infiltration from the covers and to insert the main elevator implant. The careful survey on the state of the sites and the in-depth analysis of the conditions of the machinery have formed the basis of this project; in parallel, a documentary research was carried out to gather technical information on the history of the building.
