The restoration of the south and east walls of the Castle of Desenzano del Garda (BS) was for the Municipality the conclusive act of the process of acquiring the property. The part of the castle that was the subject of intervention consisted of a section of walls and ruins of three semicylindrical plant towers: the intention of the Municipal Administration, in order to complete the project of reuse of the entire castle, was to enhance it by investing in restoration and conservation works. The purpose of the intervention was to free the walls from the infested vegetation and to bring it back to light through cleaning, demolitions and structural consolidation.
